PLEASE BE QUIET...!

There are times in our lives when we need to speak up, and there are times when we need to remain silent for our own well-being.

So everyone is talking about situations; we should raise our voice for ourselves. But very little is said about what kind of places we should be silent and what kind of times it would be wise for us to be silent.

I am going to explain it to you with the most beautiful Zen story.

Once upon a time, in a peaceful Zen monastery surrounded by lush mountains, lived a wise and renowned Zen master.

Many people come from far and wide to learn from his profound teachings and seek his guidance and wisdom.

In this way, one day, a young disciple came to the Zen master and asked a slightly different question.

What is the secret to living a truly fulfilled and happy life?

Then Guru Zen said with a slight smile

In order for the child to live a contented and happy life, you must create inner peace within yourself.

It requires silence. I will teach you it.

Five times when we should be silent, add them to your mundane life, and you will surely find your happiness.

The first time is when we are angry, because when we are angry, that anger leads us to make wrong judgments.

That anger destroys our peace of mind.

So instead of being impulsive and reacting unnecessarily in such a situation, we should embrace our silence.

Because if we give in to impulsive thoughts, we can definitely regret things.

We can do things that we regret.

But if we remain silent, we can handle the situation with wisdom. The second chance to bring out the clarity and understanding that we need from ourselves is in a conflict situation, because in such a conflict, in a debate, or in a verbal fight, we often have no idea about ourselves or what we say or do.

We want to win, we want to be right, and we want to defeat the other person.

But we must remain silent in such situations, right or wrong.

Especially if we are arguing with someone we love and who loves us, we should be sensitive and listen to them deeply. Sadness is the loss of a part of our lives, so when we feel sad, silence helps us to respect our feelings and to re-create them in a good way.

Have you ever heard that story about not making a promise to anyone when you are feeling very sad?

Because sadness is a dark cloud. Decisions to make decisions are mostly stupid. Decisions to make decisions are mostly irrational. Allow time to suppress that dark cloud Or don't try to make quick decisions to get rid of it.

It is through the silence of silent waiting that we can find comfort and acceptance, as well as the strength to move forward. The fourth opportunity is uncertain.

Going back inside is not the best decision to make; you are seeing things wrongly because you are already looking at things through a blurred lens.

So we need to be quiet, be quiet, and look at things meaningfully through quiet reflection.

The fifth time to build the clarity and calmness needed for the mind to recognize the right path is surprising even if it is a success.

But my child should definitely remember this advice and be silent in victorious and successful situations.

Because almost too much self-admiration and ego in you because of victory can lead to pride and complacency, so be humble, keep growing, and always be open to learning.

So the key to all these things is to create silence within yourself.
